I created some ringtones and synced them to my Samsung Blackjack II Windows Mobile Smartphone. When I went to Start –> Settings –> Sounds –> Ring Tone, my newly created ringtones weren’t in the list. It appears there is a setting in the registry that set the size limit at 300kb, making my 330kb mp3s unavailable as ringtones. Here is a solution to the problem:

You will need to edit the registry of your Blackjack. Get Mobile Registry Editor here.
Go into HKEY_Current_User –> ControlPanel –> Sounds
In the values window, delete the FileSizeLimit key

*note: You may need to app unlock your phone to ensure that these settings are retained.
